Clever Life DC Ceiling Fan Replacement RF Remote and Receiver Kit
This is a replacement kit for your Daydream Ceiling Fan. It will work with Daydream Ceiling Fans both with and without in-built LED lights.
You MUST select the correct fan size (for the correct power rating), otherwise the fan motor may be damaged and your warranty will be voided.
When Do I Need This Kit?
This kit can be used when:
- You have lost or broken your Daydream Fan Remote Control Handset.
- Your Daydream Fan has stopped working but there is still 230V power available to the fan (will require a licensed electrician to diagnose).
- Your Daydream Fan still works but does not function as expected when using the Remote Control Handset.
How to Install This Kit?
If you have lost or damaged your existing Daydream Fan Remote Control Handset:
Simply fit the included battery to the new Remote Control Handset then pair it to your existing fan using the instructions included in the Kit. Keep the Controller in a safe place in case you need it in the future.
If your Daydream Fan is not working as expected:
You will require a licensed electrician to diagnose and replace the Controller. This is usually a simple 10 minute job. For best results use an accredited Clever Life electrician.
If your Daydream Fan is less than 3 years old, please contact us first on 1300 315 083 or at support@cleverlife.com.au as both materials and installation may be covered under our in-home replacement warranty.
If your Daydream Fan is between 3 and 5 years old, please contact us first on 1300 315 083 or at support@cleverlife.com.au as the kit may be covered under our parts-only warranty.

How Do I Know If This is The Correct Kit For My Fan?
This kit can be used when:
- The fan is Clever Life brand (the Kit will not work with any other brands)
- The fan is one of the Daydream models (these are either 4 blade for early models or 4 or 5 blade for later models) and the Remote Control Handset should look identical to the pictures on this page.
- Please note that Clever Life Magnetic fans have 3 blades, are 52" diameter, and the Remote Control Handset looks slightly different to the pictures on this page. Those models require a different Remote & Receiver Kit - Call us on 1300 315 083 or at email us at support@cleverlife.com.au to order these.
- You MUST provide the correct fan size as each one has a different power rating. If you are not sure what size you fan is, you can measure the total diameter from blade tip to blade tip. If that is not possible, you can measure the individual blade length from the edge of the fan motor housing to the blade tip, then select your fan size from the following table.
