Effortless Installation
Installing a Clever Life Downlight is a breeze. It fits seamlessly into a standard 90-100mm cut-out, eliminating the need for modifications. Includes a 600mm lead and plug.
Below is our guide for new downlight installations. Take note that the light spread at floor level measures 4.8m, which is approximately 2 times the height of your ceiling.
To determine the floor-level light spread for a 90mm downlight, simply multiply the height of your ceiling by 2. Achieving optimal lighting levels requires some degree of overlap (as depicted in the image). Our recommendation is to install these LED downlights with a spacing of 1.5m to 5m between each unit. For "task lighting" purposes, such as illuminating kitchen benchtops, it is advantageous to have closely spaced downlights. Conversely, in bedrooms and living areas, downlights can be installed at greater distances from one another.
When replacing existing downlights, it is most convenient to stick with the current lighting layout.
