Smart and Getting Smarter
Smart Home technology is growing at a mind-blowing rate. Every month new products appear on the market which extend the capabilities of what can be achieved using an app such as the free Clever Life app, some smart home gizmos and a bit of imagination.
In this blog we will look at some ideas that you can use in your own home, whether to enhance convenience, security or just impress your friends. Even with the technology available today, there isn't too much that can't be done with a little thought and planning.
A Simple Example
To start off, let's look at a cheap, easy to install 'project' that any one can do, and potentially save thsounds of dollars in the process.
Smarten Up Your Air Conditioner
Would you like to be able to control your home air conditioner from anywhere? Maybe turn it on when you leave work so that you arrive home to a nice cool (or warm) house. Or turn it off because the kids left it on and went out.
There are two ways you can do this.
The Dumb Way - You can pay between $1,000 and $4,000 or more to replace your ‘dumb’ air conditioner with a smart version. And that’s just for one air conditioner. This might be the best solution if your current air conditioner is on its last legs and you have plenty of spare cash.
OR
The Clever Way - For only $32.95 plus p&p (while stocks last) you can easily add a Lunar IR Blaster to your home. Simply place the Blaster in line-of-sight with the air conditioner, plug it in to a power source via the supplied USB cable, then pair it to the air conditioner exactly as you would with your normal remote control unit.
No electrical, air conditioning or financial planning experts are required.
Because the Lunar IR Blaster works like any normal remote, the same unit can also be used to control your other home appliances that have an Infra Red (IR) remote such as fans, lights and even your TV. As with your normal remote, the Blaster just needs to be in line-of-sight with each product you wish to control.

Not at all tech savvy?
Setup is usually very simple, but if you do need help, check out our website where you will find detailed instructions and even a video showing you exactly what to do. If all that fails, just call our free support line during business hours on 1300 315 083 and speak to one of our Brisbane-based technicians. They will step you though the process and answer any questions you may have. And all in plain and simple language that won’t make you question your life choices.
Still Too Hard?
If it all gets too hard, just send the Blaster back within 30 days for a full refund (less p&p – conditions apply, see our website for details).
